Thedo was born in the Netherlands and raced motorcross in a great era, when dirt bikes were very popular and there were many tracks near his home. His heroes were guys like Roger Decoster and Gerrit Wolsink.
After competing in a snowboard race, Thedo decided to switch careers and go for it in alpine snowboarding- where it’s all about speed. As an Olympian he won gold in eight World Cups and podiumed countless times. After this, he became a snowboard coach for the Slovenian National team— producing the world champion in alpine snowboarding. After this,Thedo moved to Colorado, where he continued coaching. To date, he has produced 15 Olympians and coached at three more Olympic games.
To feel balanced in life, Thedo built his dream house and made trails on 42 acres of his land. Next, he started riding his motorcycles to explore and discover the area on dirt roads, trails and tracks. Now, he wants to share the beauty of the Rockies and the excitement of riding with others. He loves to help others work on skills. He loves flowing, feeling good to go ride and riding to feel good.
