About Us

Thedo Remmelink Owner, Guide, Trainer

Thedo Remmelink Owner, Guide, Trainer

Thedo was born in the Netherlands and raced motocross. This was in a great era, when dirt bikes were very popular and there were many tracks and races. His heroes were Gerrit Wolsink and Roger De Coster. After a successful moto career, Thedo pursued alpine snowboarding- which is also about speed. As an Olympian he won gold in eight World Cups and podiumed countless times. After this, he became snowboard coach for Slovenia — producing the world champion. Then, Thedo moved to Colorado where he continued coaching. To date, he has produced 15 Olympians and coached at three more Olympic games.

Or to enjoy fun challenges while learning new skills that will keep you safe, confident and make you ride easier and faster. Thedo loves to Flow " Let's go ride to feel good and feel good to go ride! "

Elkhead

Elkhead

Twisty dirt roads and passes with beautiful mountain views. Moving through remote valleys and ranch land that have been untouched. Cowboys on their horses keep the pioneer spirit alive.

Flat Tops

Flat Tops

Home of one of the largest Elk herds in the country. The streams and lakes are a life giving beauty appreciated by the Ute Indians who spent the summers here. You can feel it when we ride over Dunkley Pass.

"Thank you very much for a great session. I learned and had fun! It's certainly a different skill set on gravel and dirt compared to tarmac. David"

Steve

Steve

"Thedo is amazing! He was quickly able to assess my skill level, and instantly knew what to work on and what terrain was appropriate to my level. He patiently challenged and pushed me to a point that rapidly built skill progression and confidence, while protecting me from my reckless instincts to keep me safe and alive. Thedo provides a positive vibe that enhances learning and progression. He also is an expert at suspension setup, which resulted in a significantly better riding experience than the setup from the dealer. In just a couple of days riding, I have progressed from feeling a bit awkward and over matched by my new bike, to feeling comfortable and “flowy” even on some technical trail sections. Looking forward to our next ride! Steve"

Julie

Julie

"We started with skills training and the deliberate practice of skills got me ready for my big trip. Two days over four mountain passes with lots of rocks and sand was a great challenge. It kicked my butt, I loved it and learned so much! I feel so much more confident on my bike. Julie"
